## **Key Responsibilities**
* Collaborate with product owners and store operations partners to translate complex retail workflows into Oracle Xstore configurations and custom Java 8 components that improve store efficiency and transaction accuracy.
* Design and refine end-to-end POS journeys, including promotions, returns, discounts, tenders, and loyalty flows, ensuring seamless experiences for store associates and customers.
* Configure Oracle Xstore POS to comply with regional tax regulations, compliance requirements, and store policies while maintaining a standardized global template.
* Develop and maintain Java 8 extensions and services integrating Xstore with enterprise retail systems such as inventory, pricing, customer data, and order management.
* Build and optimize Jenkins CI/CD pipelines to automate build, testing, and deployment of Xstore components and Java services across multiple environments.
* Coordinate with infrastructure and environment teams to ensure stable hybrid environments for development, testing, and production.
* Analyze store incidents and performance metrics to identify root causes and implement improvements that enhance transaction speed, stability, and usability.
* Document functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for new store capabilities.
* Lead Site Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and pilot rollouts, ensuring smooth adoption through training and feedback.
* Partner with support and operations teams to establish monitoring, alerting, and incident management processes that minimize business disruption.
* Support production deployments and maintenance activities by validating data flows and ensuring uninterrupted core selling operations.
* Work closely with security and compliance teams to implement secure coding practices, access controls, and audit requirements for payment and customer information.
* Mentor junior team members on Oracle Xstore, Jenkins pipeline development, and Java 8 best practices.
* Promote engineering excellence through knowledge sharing and adherence to quality standards.
