Job description
The Retailer's GCC is implementing Oracle Merchandising Foundation Cloud Service (MFCS) v25 and is looking for a Functional Consultant to drive requirement gathering, solution design, and configuration across core merchandising processes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead functional design workshops for Items, Purchase Orders, Inventory, Stock Ledger, Foundation Data, and Cost Management within MFCS v25
Translate business requirements into Functional Design Documents (FDDs) aligned to Oracle Retail standard methodology
Configure MFCS screens (Item Maintenance, Supplier Setup, PO workflows, Cost Zones) per approved design
Own the RICE register for assigned functional areas — extensions, interfaces, conversions, reports
Support SIT/UAT cycles: test scenario design, defect triage, business sign-off coordination
Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and the technical/integration team
Advise on v25-specific changes (API renames, new configuration options, deprecated features)
Required Skills
10+ years in Oracle Retail implementations, minimum 2 full lifecycle MFCS/RMS implementations
Strong hands-on functional configuration experience in Items, PO, Inventory, or Stock Ledger
Working knowledge of Oracle Retail data model (ITEM_MASTER, ITEM_LOC, ORDHEAD/ORDLOC, etc.)
Experience writing FDDs, conducting CRP/SIT/UAT
Fashion & apparel retail domain experience strongly preferred (matrix items, seasons, diffs)
Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills
Good to Have
Exposure to MFP, PCS, or Sales Audit (ReSA) as adjacent modules
Prior GCC or captive delivery model experience
Oracle Retail certification (any MFCS/RMS track)
