Job description
The Retailer's GCC is looking for a Technical Consultant to own the technical build, integration, and data conversion workstream for the MFCS v25 implementation, working closely with the functional team on RICE delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Design and build extensions, interfaces, conversions, and reports (RICE) for MFCS v25
Own Logical Design Documents (LDDs) — configuration design, integration design, extension design
Build and maintain OIC integrations (CrossTalk patterns) between MFCS and downstream systems (POS, WMS, RDS)
Design and execute data conversion mappings (legacy → MFCS v25 schema)
Perform API field mapping and troubleshoot v25-specific API changes
Tune batch jobs, review scheduler configuration, and manage performance/volume testing
Support environment/release management across SIT, UAT, and Production cutover
Partner with the functional consultant to validate that technical builds meet FDD intent
Required Skills
10+ years in Oracle Retail technical delivery, minimum 2 full lifecycle MFCS/RMS implementations
Strong SQL/PLSQL and Oracle Retail data model expertise (schema-level, not just screen-level)
Hands-on OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud) experience — CrossTalk, REST/SOAP integration patterns
Experience with data conversion tooling and batch/ETL processes for retail data migrations
Familiarity with MFCS v25 API layer and recent schema/field changes
Experience authoring LDDs and technical specs to Oracle Retail implementation standards
Good to Have
RDS (APEX/ORDS/ADW) reporting layer experience
Exposure to Xstore, SIOCS, or WMS integration touchpoints
Prior AMS-to-implementation transition experience (but role is pure implementation/build — not support)
