**About the Role**
Samay Consulting is hiring a PL/SQL Developer to work on new development and enhancement projects across Oracle Retail (MFCS/RMFCS) and Blue Yonder platforms — building custom extensions, RICE objects, and integration-layer logic as part of active implementation and enhancement workstreams. This is a build role, not a break-fix role.
**What You'll Own**
- Custom PL/SQL development — stored procedures, packages, triggers, and batch jobs for new Oracle Retail features and enhancements
- RICE extension development (reports, interfaces, conversions, extensions) for MFCS as part of implementation projects
- Blue Yonder (JDA) database-side development and integration scripting for new requirements
- Building ETL and integration logic between Oracle Retail and Blue Yonder (planning, forecasting, replenishment data flows)
- Writing technical design specs and translating functional requirements into database-level solutions
- Unit testing, code reviews, and performance tuning of newly developed objects
- Collaborating with functional/business analysts to convert FDDs into working PL/SQL code
- Contributing to SIT/UAT cycles for the objects you build
**Must-Haves**
- 8–10 years of PL/SQL development, with substantial time building on Oracle Retail (MFCS/RMFCS) schemas
- Hands-on development experience with Blue Yonder / JDA platform — database structures, batch processes, or integration touchpoints
- Strong understanding of Oracle Retail's stock ledger, cost, and item data models from a build perspective
- Experience taking a functional design document (FDD) and delivering clean, tested, production-ready code
- Solid query design and performance-conscious coding practices from day one
**Nice-to-Haves**
- Exposure to OIC or middleware layers connecting Oracle Retail and Blue Yonder
- Experience with Oracle Retail Data Store (RDS)/APEX reporting objects
- Prior experience on a full-cycle Oracle Retail or Blue Yonder implementation project
