JOB DESCRIPTION
RH is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer with deep expertise in Oracle Retail technologies to join our dynamic and expanding team. The ideal candidate will bring extensive hands-on experience in designing, building, and deploying enterprise-scale retail solutions using Oracle modules and next-generation RMS platforms. This role requires a strong technical foundation in PL/SQL, microservices architecture, and REST/SOAP integrations, along with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset focused on delivering high-quality, scalable systems.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Architect, design, and lead the development of enterprise-scale retail solutions using Oracle Retail technologies, including RMS, RIB, ReSA, ReHA, RICS, and next-generation RMS platforms
Drive end-to-end solution delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives, scalability, and long-term maintainability
Serve as a technical authority on Oracle Retail systems, providing guidance, mentorship, and oversight to junior engineers and cross-functional teams
Develop and optimize complex PL/SQL logic and database structures to support high-volume transactional retail systems
Define and implement microservices architectures and integration patterns using REST and SOAP APIs to enable seamless interoperability between platforms
Collaborate with enterprise architects, product managers, and business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into robust technical solutions
Lead code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure adherence to security, performance, and reliability standards
Continuously evaluate and adopt emerging Oracle Retail trends, tools, and methodologies to inform strategic technology decisions
Champion a culture of innovation, accountability, and technical excellence across engineering and project teams
OUR REQUIREMENTS
10+ years of experience working within the Oracle Retail technology ecosystem
Proven expertise with Oracle Retail modules including RMS, RIB, ReSA, ReHA, and RICS
Deep technical proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL and strong understanding of Oracle database architecture
Extensive experience implementing SOAP and RESTful integration patterns
Demonstrated expertise in designing and deploying microservices-based architectures
Strong understanding of retail business workflows, operations, and systems.
Collaborative team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Delivers clear, comprehensive documentation for both technical and functional specifications.
Committed to maintaining high standards in code quality, testing practices, and delivery excellence
Familiarity with Oracle APEX development and hands-on experience with integration or streaming tools such as Mulesoft, Kafka, or similar platforms, preferred
Possess a respectful, solution-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership and initiative to drive project success
Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and accountability by asking the right questions to uncover meaningful insights
