ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a RMS Development Expert, you will be responsible for providing quality work products to an engagement. You will perform varied and complex duties and tasks that require independent judgment to implement Oracle products and technology to meet SmartOSC's business needs. You will apply system development methodology, company procedures, and leading practices, demonstrating expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions. You may act as the team lead on projects, effectively consulting with business/IT management and participating in system development activities. You will develop and configure detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Develop and maintain Oracle Retail Merchandising software applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Participate in the software development life cycle (SDLC).
Write clean and efficient code.
Conduct software testing and debugging.
Collaborate on code reviews.
Monitor and maintain existing Oracle Retail software systems.
Stay updated with industry trends and technologies.
Document software processes and specifications.
Provide technical support.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Bachelor’s degree or above in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
3+ years of hands-on development experience in complex system implementation projects.
At least 2 full project implementation cycles in a development role.
Experience with Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS) implementation is strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of Retail Merchandising System (RMS) and Retail Price System (RPS).
Solid skills in system analysis, technical design, and software development.
Experience working with Oracle Database and/or MSSQL.
Familiarity with Agile methodology.
Good problem-solving and communication skills in English.

Worked as a developer / technical consultant / implementation engineer
Been directly involved in coding, customization, integration, and solution delivery
Participated in end-to-end project implementation, not only post-go-live support
