Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager to lead the development, support, and enhancement of Pricing and Promotions systems. This role will oversee engineering teams across multiple locations, drive the delivery of business-critical initiatives, and ensure operational excellence for both in-house and Oracle Retail platforms. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with proven leadership capabilities and experience managing cross-functional teams in a retail or consumer products environment.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage engineering and development activities for Pricing and Promotions systems across multiple geographic locations
Oversee administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of business systems and processes
Ensure the design, delivery, and maintenance of effective user training programs for assigned systems
Prioritize, coordinate, and direct team activities related to requirements gathering, issue resolution, project execution, and system enhancements
Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders while resolving complex technical challenges
Ensure business systems analysis and development activities comply with organizational policies, standards, and best practices
Manage, mentor, coach, and develop team members, including hiring, performance management, and career development activities
Assign and oversee contractor work, providing guidance, feedback, and performance evaluations
Lead day-to-day management and prioritization of Pricing and Promotion platforms, including both in-house applications and Oracle Retail solutions
Ensure timely delivery of projects, enhancements, support activities, and system improvements while maintaining high quality standards
Establish governance processes, workload tracking, and resource allocation to minimize risk and maximize team effectiveness
Serve as the primary escalation point for Pricing and Promotions systems and facilitate effective cross-regional collaboration
Adhere to established standards for infrastructure-as-code practices, system maintenance, and project delivery using Agile and traditional SDLC methodologies

Experience managing enterprise business systems, project delivery, and operational support functions
