Job description
Build and own the test automation framework for Xstore POS to reduce regression cycle time across a large, multi-wave rollout.
Key Responsibilities
Design and build an automation framework for Xstore POS regression (UI + API layer)
Automate core POS flows — sales transactions, returns/voids, tender, loyalty, till/EOD
Integrate automation suite into CI/CD pipeline for continuous regression on every build
Own automation coverage roadmap — prioritize by defect-proneness and business criticality
Build reusable automation components for Xcenter and Xstore-to-MFCS/OIC integration testing
Lead a small automation team; mentor manual QA engineers into automation
Report automation coverage %, execution metrics, and defect-catch-rate to QA/program leadership
Maintain automation scripts across Xstore version upgrades/patches
Must-Have Skills
8+ years in QA automation, 3+ years specifically automating Xstore/retail POS
Strong hands-on with Selenium/Appium (or equivalent) + a scripting language (Java/Python)
API automation experience (REST-assured, Postman/Newman) for Xstore-OIC/MFCS integration layer
CI/CD integration experience (Jenkins/GitLab/Azure DevOps)
Experience automating against NRF OCI-containerized Xstore environments a strong plus
Team leadership experience
Nice to Have
Performance/load testing exposure for POS peak-load scenarios (Black Friday-type events)
Xstore offline-mode automation experience
